
L’enjambée (the stride) leads the way, ready to move forward on its long legs along the Lac Long trail. Like a mountain bearing the imprint of the modes of transportation that travel there (bicycles, snowshoes, cross-country skis, horses, walking, and running), it evokes the current and past uses of the area. Come back to see it again over the hours and seasons, to observe its footprints walking across the ground with the passing of the sun…
